ProjectX1 is a
hybrid bass synth utilizing subtractive,fm,phase
distortion and unison synthesis. It's essentially a
monophonic synth but has a pseudo stereo mode also
and features 2 filters,2 adsr's,mod envelope generator,2
modulation matrix's with 24 possible destinations
each and the source signals can also be inverted.
There's
two effects types which are
widely used in
music production today; a tube amp
simulator which allows you to control
gain,clip,speed,cap,bias,shape and mix and also a bit
crusher with selectable modes of operation. A unison
oscillator has been added but the synth does'nt operate
in unison mode. Peak follow has been added and can
grunge up the sound a bit more. Most of the
knobs/sliders can be controlled via midi and there's
also dual waveshapers or assymetrical waveshaping for
want of a better term.
There's other
features I hav'nt covered here but you'll get the gist
of things.

& 24 user programs,new peak meters,tweaked out the
gui,new knobs. This vst plugin
for PC was designed to take 'monophonic' audio input and transform it
into something barely recognizable if you
want. It also incorporates a 4 pole low pass
filter (moog filter) and an LFO to expand on
the possibility's available.
A single-stream quasi-synchronous granulator which also features
an analog filter to further
manipulate the sound with a smooth lowpass, phatpass(with some big bottom
end) and highpass
formant hybrid settings. The sonix interface is very easy on the eyes and the gui gives
sonix the look of
hardware rather than software.All the main controls can
be automated of
course so you get 'full control'over your audio grains, and metering is courtesy of a standard rms sensing VU
which monitors the
mono input level only.
